Recycled glass panel is produced entirely from recycled glass. During the manufacture of flat glass, solar glass, coloured glass and glass for bottles, waste, non-compliant products and surpluses are constantly generated, accounting for approximately 5% of total production. These industrial residues constitute the raw material used to make glass-ceramic.
The waste glass is first crushed in a controlled manner, then subjected to a complex sintering process, without the use of binders or pressure, but using only heat and time. Once this phase is complete, the sintered sheets are gradually cooled in special hoods.
Finally, during the final processing stage, the raw sheets are calibrated, polished if necessary, and cut to the required dimensions.
