These surfaces are created using sustainable materials, combining 100% post-consumer recycled PET, pre-consumer recycled glass and natural stone. They are produced using a carefully controlled, environmentally friendly process: the raw materials are heated to a temperature of between 250 and 300 °C, during which the recycled PET acts as a binder, giving the final material high strength.
The entire process is designed to minimise environmental impact, avoiding the use of toxic catalysts while ensuring safe working conditions. To achieve a uniform colour, only transparent or blue plastic bottles are selected. These are carefully checked to remove any impurities, shredded into flakes, thoroughly washed to remove any residue and finally dried to remove any residual moisture.
The result is a surface with excellent performance: extremely impact-resistant, non-porous, therefore immune to staining, and easy to clean without any special effort.
